Whether you’re bogged down with customer acquisitions, managing staff, or taking care of the books, it feels like there are endless things to do.   Many of the tasks are enjoyable and some might even be things you look forward to, but for most small business owners, accounting isn’t one of them – although it’s necessary, most find it tedious. If that’s the case for you, consider [cloud accounting software](https://blog.southeastcomputers.com/using-the-cloud-for-a-competitive-advantage) to make the job easier and less stressful.   **Here are a few of the benefits of Acumatica:** ## It Offers Safety and Security [Cloud-based accounting software](https://blog.southeastcomputers.com/cloud-computing-facts-and-myths) worries some business owners because storing private company data online seems risky, but in reality, reputable cloud companies often have better security than you would have if you kept your data in-house. The developers of these applications typically implement enhanced SSL security features, firewalls, and virus protection. In addition, they store backups of all their systems – and your data – in the unlikely event of a system glitch. You can also set up rules for managing other human resources tasks, such as monitoring vacation time and evaluating employee performance.    It also manages cash flow – in from customers and out to vendors – with transparent data and a customizable alert system so you can be notified of potential problems and stop them before they happen, saving you the time of a possibly messy clean up. ## Acumatica – Your User-Friendly Cloud Accounting Solution Acumatica has a very user-friendly interface that allows you to conduct all of your small business accounting tasks in one intuitive system. With its adaptability and scalability, it sweeps away any worries you might have about how doing business now might differ from doing business in the future. With streamlined workflows and customizable dashboards, Acumatica is easy to use; with its mobile capabilities, it’s easy to use from anywhere.   Cloud accounting software offers many other benefits, including the ability to improve your customer service, increase collaboration among your employees, and ultimately improve productivity so you can spend less time on things like invoicing and more time growing your business.
