Jeff and I attended the Acumatica Summit in Nashville, along with nearly 1,200 others – a record showing – and we saw more new partners and ISVs than ever before. The level of excitement and enthusiasm regarding Acumatica was energizing for all the attendees, including us.
We thoroughly enjoyed meeting with partners and ISVs and participating in the networking and lively brainstorming about Acumatica practices and how to make them successful.
Acumatica shared some "personal" information in the morning's keynote speech, including:
- They're celebrating their10-year anniversary
- 144% revenue growth
- 130+ ISVs
- 4,000+ customers
- Opened offices in Mexico City and are going after Central America as a whole
We attended several sessions after lunch, including “What’s new in Acumatica 2018 R1” and “Competitive Landmines – How We Will Win” (which took many digs at Sage).
“The Modern VAR” afternoon session was our favorite, however, with energetic discussions about implementation, product offerings, getting in our customers' budgets, and a fun group chaos study.
The second keynote covered Acumatica software, specifically:
- Upcoming R2 release
- New UI
- Mobile capabilities
- Field service edition (M5)
- Badges now expire every 2 years
Overall, attending the Acumatica Summit was a boon for us. With the record number of visitors, high levels of enthusiasm, continued optimism, and of course all the exciting changes coming up for Acumatica, I’m confident that supporting Acumatica was the right move – there’s a lot of opportunity.
If you have any questions about what we heard, saw, or felt at the Acumatica Summit, please contact us. We’d love to share more about our experience. (Incidentally, we have information about Acumatica, too!)
